Not Letting Boundaries, Stop The Word
The mission of Bibles Through Walls is simple: NO HUMAN WITHOUT THE WORD. But it goes so much deeper than that. We send Bibles all over the U.S. to federal and state prisons, juvenile detention centers, psychiatric institutions, senior livings, homeless outreach teams, homeless shelters, veterans, street outreach programs, and so many more. We get requests from all kinds of organizations, big and small, and every single one matters to us.
We are a mission built by God’s guidance. The Word isn’t just a book, it’s not just words on a page — it’s a way of life, it’s the truth, it’s the path. And we want to make sure every hand with a want, or even hands with no knowledge of it at all, at least get the chance to open it once, look at it, hold it, and start to understand what Jesus sacrificed for them.
Bibles Through Walls was started by Chris Banks, a 15-year-old entrepreneur who first created Center of Love Ministries. Bibles Through Walls was born as a sub-program of COL Ministries, but Chris realized fast that this wasn’t just an idea — it was a calling. So he pushed with everything he had, every last bit of time, to build it and grow it into the mission God showed him.
Our goal is to get warehouses, increase the number of people we serve, pray for more organizations, and create a stronger understanding of what our mission is and why it matters. We want to open doors for organizations that need Bibles but never thought they would ever have that option.
A core of everything we do is the “NO REJECTION RULE.” We always work to make every request possible, but our heart is this: we never want to reject an organization we know truly needs Bibles. We never want to turn away a person who says they don’t have one. If someone needs a Bible, they will be provided one — no questions asked. God’s Word belongs in every hand in America and every hand globally.
This is our mission. This is our call. And nothing will stop the Word of God from reaching the people who need it the most.
At Bibles Through Walls, our mission, leadership, and decisions are guided first and always by Scripture. These verses form the biblical foundation of how we share the Gospel, steward God’s Word, and lead this mission with discernment, wisdom, and obedience.
The Gospel is the power of God for salvation.
This verse anchors our boldness. We are not ashamed of the Gospel, and we believe God’s Word has power wherever it is sent.
ROMANS:1:16 'For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. '
The call to go and make disciples.
This is the mandate that drives us beyond walls, systems, and limitations to bring God’s Word to all people.
Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Discernment and heart-led action.
Everything we do is done in the name of Jesus, with prayerful intention and faithfulness to Him.
Colossians: 3:17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Biblical leadership and responsibility.
As leaders, we are responsible for protecting and stewarding what God has entrusted to us, keeping this mission grounded in Scripture and truth
1 Corinthians 3:17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
Wisdom and stewardship.
We commit our plans, resources, and decisions to the Lord, trusting Him to establish our path.
Proverbs 16:3 Commit your works to the LORD, And your thoughts will be established.
Meeting people where they are.
We adapt our approach without compromising the Gospel so that as many as possible may encounter Christ.
1 Corinthians 9:22 to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
God as the ultimate guide.
We seek God’s wisdom above all else, acknowledging that every decision must begin with prayer and dependence on Him.
James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
God’s Word will accomplish what He intends.
We trust that when Scripture is placed into someone’s hands, God will work beyond what we can see or control.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
